We are very proud to be sponsoring T-shirts for the local primary and nursery PTA, which they will be wearing at all their fundraising events, including Saturday 25th February, when they will be bag packing at the local ASDA store at Garthdee.

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE
Grampian Children With Cancer and Leukemia Research Fund, were the beneficiaries of our annual Christmas Raffle once again this year and over £1,200 has been raised for the Fund. Many thanks to all our customers and suppliers for donating some fantastic prizes, including a BMX bike!

THE ANNUAL FERRYHILL GOLF OUTING HITS ABOYNE!
On Sunday 21st August, 40 'Golfers' from the Ferryhill will be playing a round on the Golf Course at Aboyne. Will Alan retain the coveted Wooden Spoon, rumours are that he's been out practicing this year, so maybe Paul will win it back for another year!!
Crooky is determind he will keep the Best Net Score title, but we have our doubts!

.........and the scores on the doors.......Best Gross Score goes to Graeme from HMT who had an amazing round of 88!!
Richard Beaton, (aka, The Bandito!!) took home the trophies for both the Nett Score of 65 and the Stableford of 41 points!
The battle for the Wooden Spoon went right to the wire, but Paul managed to pip both Ralph and Alan with his amazing abiltiy to drive into the gorse and therefore win the coveted award for the 3rd year!!

HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY PAUL!!
Many Happy returns to Paul Newall, one of our Managers, who has reached the half century milestone!! God he's old! Paul can be found most nights, propping up the bar with a cup of coffee in one hand, overseeing the staff, maybe now though, it'll be ovaltine and he'll have his zimmer to get round the bar!
